About Culinary Arts at TRHS

United States
The Culinary Arts program is a popular program in the Technical Division at Tantasqua. Along with the new program comes a new cafe. The Cornerstone Café opened its doors to both the faculty and staff at Tantasqua and to the public. With a menu that varies from salads and sandwiches to salmon and roasted turkey, the turnout has been phenomenal. The Café has become a popular gathering place for teachers and members of the community. Students in the Culinary Arts program are learning to prepare the food they serve, and how to run a small restaurant. They plan the meals, prepare the food, wait on customers, clear tables, and clean the kitchen. The experiences they are gaining are invaluable in the field of culinary arts. Students in the program are learning to cook and also learning the importance of presentation. They are the students of today and the chefs of tomorrow.

A lot of time and effort has been put into this blog and to have you take the time to look at it, is very appreciated. My name is Jakki and I have, along with the Instructors, worked to supply you with this blog. If you could also take the time to sign our page and let us know that you have visited, it would be a great help in having an idea on who has visited and who hasn't. So once again thank you for visiting... :-)

Sincerely,
Jakki
